    Hi @JasonPowell the start of April is when the focus switches from ice racing (we're in Canada =o) to autox so I will post any updates to our classing system as they come to light. If you have any specific questions in the meantime, feel free to ask.

    To answer you regarding our highest car class - we stop at 'A' as our car counts at this time gives a good spread within our 3 classes - this essentially makes 'A' a free-for-all class, you can have infinite points... We wouldn't have enough A+25 cars to support it's own class.

    However, to make things fair we have a 4th 'Modified' or 'Outlaw' category for cars such as an Ariel Atom or karts (or if some day if a McLaren P1 decides to show up, haha), that is up to the club's discretion, which are able to run at events but don't compete for season points.

    Would love to see the support active again.. even if a new version is far away... the current iteration really is a fantastic piece of autox software.

    We need @Chris's expertise as I'm sure there is a fix and hope he has some time to check on here =)

    Any response from Chis yet by chance? Hopefully your clubs can get this fixed up.

    If @chris started charging a yearly subscription fee along with more active support and updates, I don't think any club would complain.

    I would follow Jason's advice and give a Windows machine a try, you should have better luck! I can also vouch for the Dell ATG series and is exactly what our club uses, the screen being viewable in direct sunlight alone is worth every penny.

    I would say that as long as live.axti.me is still connecting and hosting live results, we can continue using the software as is. Of course new features and updates are nice but there doesn't seem to be any glaring issues with the current version which is more then usable.

    All these problems appearing at once seems really strange. I would try creating a cloud backup of your past events then wiping your computer, doing a fresh install of Axtime and see how that goes.

    @JasonPowell said:

    • a single system screen that can do TK, CC and CQ easily and intuitively. I think this would be killer for clubs with one or maybe 2 people in timing trying to do it all. TK is close as is, if you could add cones to the current TK screen when selecting a driver. This is NOT limited to small clubs either as my local SCCA group runs a single laptop/person in timing for 100 car events.

    This ^ =)

    @Duke you can't use your own custom points... it has a default set of 10, 9, 8... something like that (I don't have axtime in front of me) and only a limited number of spots.. say 10 spots for allocating a number... Since our club's old points system (before we switched to the FTD calculation) started at 40, 35, 33, 30, 28, 26, all the way down to 0, we were not able to recreate this by default in Axti.me. Chris had to make a custom plugin for us. Would be nice to have the option to do this (fixed points allocation) without a custom plug in. Even though now we use FTD calculation, haha.
