This isn't an AXti.me issue, but I thought it was funny. We're just setting up our new scoring system to go with our Farmtek wireless timing gear. Last night was our first trial run on my dining room table. I had the laptop open and connected, with the FarmTek console next to it, and the timing lights where we could initiate and finish runs.
It all worked great, except that the AXti.me results were completely random. A 35-second run would score as 51 seconds, etc. There was no fixed multiple or delta. It seemed like the longer the run, the more closely the score approximated real time, but not reliably. A 3-second run scored as 900+ seconds. Absolutely could not figure it out. Tried Chrono and Normal modes, etc, multiple AXti.me restarts, yada yada. No luck. Completely random times were getting recorded.
Then I happened to move the Farmtek console a couple feet away from the laptop. Problem solved! I would have figured that interference could cause it to not work at all, but I never figured it would cause spurious times!
