I'm editing a member and I cannot seem to paste or type in his MSR ID info. It will let me edit that field, but when I save, exit to the member list, and return back, it is blanked out. I've even made sure to click into another field in case the MSR needs to read a "close field" event in order to save the edit.

@Duke MSR ID is only used by the system and will be populated only when doing MSR imports (either Members or Event regs), so I doesn't allow you to change it. You should ever need to.

The reason I was wondering is that I often end up with duplicate members for some reason - one with an event history but no MSR info, and one with MSR info but no runs. I can merge them, but I thought it would be simpler to just cut-paste the ID.
Due to data sanitization issues like the duplication above, though, I think I am done with directly importing MSR info. Going forward I just plan to use MSR as a checklist of preregistrants and then add drivers individually out of the audited AXti.me member entries.

You shouldn't get duplicates when importing either from MSR or CSV.
What do you think is duplicating?

I wind up with 2 people pf the same name, but usually very slight differences in data. Like maybe one has an MSR ID but one doesn't. Or maybe one has car info and one doesn't. It's part of why I'm being so fascist about data hygiene. It's happened every time I've tried to import.
