Impressive.. @vreihen started using AXti.me in the future!!
That's not a typo, and there's no DeLorean or flux capacitor in my garage. :-) Our first scheduled event with AXti.me is tomorrow...and for the first time in 10+ years I'm not stressing over an event.
I've had the software for a few months, and have many hours in beating it up wearing my Captain Coredump superhero cape making sure that I can gracefully recover from whatever our mere mortal workers can throw at it. Yeah, I know that it's an old habit from our dark days of AXware that's going to be hard to break. As the T&S person for another club says, each new patch of AXware means spending hours learning about what new voodoo chants and chicken bones need to be used with whatever was broken by the latest update. Oh, and don't forget the novice sacrifice to Chronos, the god of autox timing systems. :-) Anyway, other than the problem of a corrupted/locked database due to an improper shutdown on 32-bit Windows (where mongoDB apparently does not have journaling enabled by default), there have not been any AXware-type surprises (and I also know how to recover the database now if it happens again).
Long story short, I have been answering questions here, and using a future date in my signature is a disclaimer to all that I have zero experience running it at a live event. Plus, I was too lazy to open up my email to get my actual purchase date when I was editing my signature file. :-) I saw that someone else put their club's start date in their forum signature, and thought that it was a good idea for us early adopters to recognize ourselves in the future when thousands of clubs are using AXti.me and its monolithic Windows legacy competitor is long forgotten in the autox world.....
